Wisconsin native PETER MULVEY is performing tonight in support brand new album, "Notes from Elsewhere" Expect a retrospective collection of the very best songs he has written and performed over his 15 year recording career. Peter is best known for his skillful and percussive guitar playing style. The Washington Post described Peter's music as "the subtle power of his voice, a husky, hushed baritone... understated, at once sophisticated and intimate... as cover-worthy as Randy Newman, Elvis Costello and Dar Williams.
Listen:

Boston-based songwriter MEG HUTCHINSON just released her newest project "The Living Side" on Red House Records, and it's already being called her finest release to date. Called a "master of introspective ballads" (Performing Songwriter), she has won numerous songwriting awards in the United States, Ireland, and the UK, including renowned competitions at Merlefest, Mountain Stage NewSong Folk Festival, Kerrville Folk Festival and Rocky Mountain Folks Fest. "The Living Side" was produced by Crit Harmon (Lori McKenna, Martin Sexton, Mary Gauthier), and combines Hutchinson's raw storytelling folk style and showcases her unique alto vocals that are the hallmark of her music. For fans of: David Gray, Shawn Colvin, and Beth Orton.
