Critics agree that JEREMY AGGERS is a quiet sort of performer. He doesn't put on this rock star facade, jumping about on stage and making faces. He's quiet, calm, letting the music do the entertaining and letting himself be the vessel. He's garnered comparisons to a roots-ier Tom Waits, and his debut album "What It Comes Down" To was hailed as a success for its thoughtful lyrics, clean guitar work, and Aggers' vocals, which, according to Midnight United, "exudes so much power with so little effort."
Listen:

The story of CHANNING & QUINN (Channing Lee and Quinn Matthews) began not too long ago in Boone, NC. Their quirky, soulful sound quickly found a home in Nashville. They combine unique elements - Channing's fluttery, sumptuous "Ani DiFranco-meets-Peggy Lee" vocals, xylophone plinking and imaginative lyrics, Quinn's- percussive strumming and plucking on guitar, banjo and ukulele to create a sound that's none-too-cluttered and utterly original.
She's only been playing the guitar since 2003, but CHELSEA LYNN LABATE already has three albums under her belt, not to mention the awards for her songwriting. She's toured in Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Spain, and Germany, and is currently focusing on the small stages here on the east coast. She's won our own Open Mic Shootout, Asheville's "Brown Bag," and landed second in Flat Rock Songwriter's Competition. Her song "Galileo" won "Song of the Year 2009" from Songwriters Showcases of America, and she was a top 9 finalist in Brooklyn's WLSC (Williamsburg Live Songwriter Competition). Her new album, "Picking Through the Pawn Shop," is being recorded now and is slated for release late this year.
TYLER LYLE blends rootsy Americana with the gypsy folk and African rhythms. His songs include characters like Charlie Chaplain and Oedipus, lovable alcoholics, blind painters, revolutionaries, dreamers, drifters, pesky preachers and those who are human to the utmost. He has shared the stage with the likes of acts like Besides Daniel, Wild Sweet Orange, Allie Moss, Bess Rogers (of Ingrid Michaelson), Tova Rinah and the Way Home, and more. He released his second album earlier this year.
